How we met

We were both attending the University of Iowa—Matt was pursuing his masters degree and I was an undergraduate student. We connected on Tinder and the rest is history.

The Proposal

We were on a cruise ship and browsing in the Effy store for fun. We had talked about marriage before but no plans at that time. The jewelers showed us some rings and when I saw one of them, I knew that was the ring for me. So we decided to buy it on the spot and then we were essentially engaged.
